Seeds of Innovation

Merging architecture and conservation biology is the goal of Maggie MacKinnon’s PhD research at Victoria University of Wellington. With her research into how green walls can provide habitat for native birds and contribute positively to building thermal performance, she hopes to demonstrate the benefits of integrating more vegetation into buildings.
